Bugs fixed- Button modules edited and recompiled to filter button type properly on all buttons. - 1_127.txt bug fixed. - Moved modifiers back into user commands. Several daws seem to implement alt, control, option and shift using different note numbers. I will miss the indicators.

Bugs fixedTransports, commands, fkeys, banks, cursors all were broken... Sorry about that all! I still can't figure out why only 1 person out of 97 who downloaded 1.6 emailed me to tell me things were not working... And of course, you can't figure out why I would release without full test. Ok we are even! Redid text for note output on the above sections. They were broken, stuck on note# 40 output.. Also made it possible to change the note output on the vpot function selectors... so, if a command does not work, try something in the 40 - 45 range to see if it works.

Complete redo -*** Alas - NOT patch compatible with ver. 1.53, sorry! New layout, has all controls on one screen. New skin - trying for a more mackie look. Fewer user commands. 5 new midi modules for synthedit, written by Bill Stei and hacked by myself - eliminate the need for almost 1000 modules in the synthedit source file! GenMce.dll size reduced by 2 meg! Cpu use reduced by 60 - 70% Vpots - New module - 1 does the work of 500!Auto detect type of controller for vpots! Absolute Relative it won't matter. Genmce knows what you are sending, no nrpns or rpns.. Response improved - more options, pick your favorite. Acceleration implemented for absolute input controllers that skip values when you turn them fast. Much smoother with the new vpot module, and significant cpu improvement.Faders - new module. Still need to get some sort of feedback for them to prevent value jumps - waiting for synthedit 1.1 and sysex Mutes - 1 new module for all 8 mutes. Select 1 type of input for all 8 mutes. TODO: someday - Midi learn Sysex response for Sonar, fix... Sysex feedback to eliminate fader jumps. Rebuild all in c++ native to allow for osx and linux! Who knows if ever?

*Fixed – preset selects! *New documentation, lots of small pictures! **Added presets for Ableton Live, Cubase/Nuendo, Sonar, MOTU Digital Performer, Cool Edit Pro, Audtion, Traktion, Pro Tools Hui, Reason, Logic (not finished), and Saw Studio. Fixed – cc drop down lists (text box read only) many places -text entry was not working correctly. Now only drop downs for cc/notes. Fixed several broken popups – user command section. Added Chan <, > buttons in the Controls section. Added I/O button/user named in Vpot output. Layout Changed slightly. User Command I and II sections out# changed to read only and colors changed to reflect user input (red) for Function. You can't change the function by changing this text. It only reflects what the software expects and is a reference for the user.

Revised vpot output - default to pan with leds. Pan command removed, not needed with default setting to pan. Fixed Jog output when set to relative mode. Was 16, now 60, oops. GenMceXT, separate download. Todo - note control of cursor "odd behavior" beware. When going up to top, it drops down 1???? Looking at adding knob control of cursor movement, maybe...

Fixed unresponsive faders and mis mapped vpots... ugh! cc popup list had 88 listed twice, (thanks Daniel for seeing that) an easy fix. Went back to drop down boxes for many of the switches, midi ch and type. There seems to be a limit to the number of popup selections I can use. The number from previous release was causing all kinds of problems. Popups still available for all CC and note # selections. The screen layout has changed again, for the last time. Fkeys are on two diff windows... switch them in and out. Master en/disable removed – to prevent accidentally disablings. Future releases should be patch compatible with this one. The only thing that will change is look. Cpu came back up a little.change log 1.4 - Skipped a few versions, this is such a major rewrite.
Removed many many unnecessary modules under the surface. Fixed vpots -will respond much faster and more appropriately - total rewrite. Values now output when encoder end is reached and one continues to turn. Added midi control of vpot and jog response Improved cpu response. Idle - 0.0% in use 0-2%, mostly under 1.5% on above machine. Totally new style of input selection, pop up menus, much easier to work with, IMHO. Fixed note on/offs to work, they seemed broken to me... Total rewrite of mute select and multifunction mutes, faders, vpots. Layout rearranged/removed some setup screens. Moved controls and switches for, hopefully, more logical setup. Added Transports, Cursor movement, Vpot output sections all with fixed outputs for more streamlined setup.. F-keys now have fixed outputs, you still must define them in DAW. Added off for many but not all non user assignable and user assignable outputs. Reduced choices to available cc's for user assignable controls. Note input is always push, not toggle. Removed DAW section, now just User Commands and on 1 page. (Many of the command outputs are static across daw software, so those are on the main setup screen.) File size got bigger! Oops, graphic - popups!
